“Myths & Realities of Social Media in Pakistan”


In today’s dynamic and rapidly changing environment, digital media is playing a major role in improving the awareness and equity of small, medium and large organizations—and social media network is playing a major role. As per the needs of the corporate world and the use of social media worldwide, we have chosen a topic “Myths & Realities of Social Media in Pakistan”.
Institute of Business and Technology (Biztek) will be holding a seminar followed by a workshop for our students. We have requested two professionals from the field of social media who are working at the regional and global level:

  • Mr. Khalid Muhammad
    Group Managing Director-the emagine group

    His experience spans over 20 years in marketing, branding, business operations management and technology deployment. His specific experience spans across multiple industries and operational functionalities which allowed him to understand business at a level of detail that most professionals don't have the opportunity to experience.
  • Mr. Sarosh Waiz
    Activation Strategist-GroupM ESP

    He deals with media channels for innovative media executions, online activations and content integration are some of the prominent areas. He is a successful entrepreneur in the digital era - BragBoxX is a Social Media consultancy that is in its initial stages. He owns the PakMediaBlog as well; vision to establish an online identity of Pakistan’s Media, Marketing and Advertising industry.
