Karachi, Speakers of a conference Saturday observed that the founder of Paksitan Quaid-e-Azam,Muhammed Ali Jinnah's vision was to build a modern democratic country with equal rights and religious freedom for every citizen.

They were addressing a confernece on Quaid-e-Azam's vision of Pakistan,at a hotel here.

The event was co-hosted by Institiute of Business and Technology (BIZTEK) and High Education Comission of Pakistan (HEC).

Speaking as chief guest, Sindh Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Chaudary Iftikhar Ahmed said that this was a high time to recall the vision of father of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam,Muhammed Ali Jinnah about Pakistan, when intolerance and violence were being promoted by the certain groups.

Provincial Law Minister said that the great leader, Mr.Jinnah declared Pakistan a plural state with equal rigths and privilege for every citizens with religious and social freedom.

According to vision of Quaid every countrymen, no matter which creed or caste he/she belongs to, is a citizen of the country with equal destiny, he said.

Minister said that founder of Pakistan wanted the Nation not to be guided by ill-will or favoritism.

He noted that there was no place for Nepotism in Quaid's vision as he termed the bribe as curse to the state and people, he added.

Ch. Iftikhar Ahmed also said taht this was a time, we must honor Quaid-e-Azam Academy, Prof. Shareef-ul-Mujahid said that we (Musilms) had two different centuries, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan in the 19th century and Quaid-e-Azam M.A Jinnah in 20th.

In one of his speech Mr.Jinnah poited out "I do not know what the constitution of the country would be, but i am sure, it would be a democratic type incorpated with the essentials of Islam", said Prof.Mujahid.

He said that Quaid conceived Pakistan as a Federation with various units having free judicial system and complete autonomy.

He said that Quaid stood for sancity of civic life and for human resources as well as social sector development.

Prof. Mujahid said that Quaid considered administrators as servants to the people not their masters as he called upon them not to be influenced and guided by personal intrests.
