Offices of the Institute - BIZTEK ::
  Registrar’s Office

Registrar’s office coordinates with all the departments of the Institute. This office is the heart of the institution and is responsible for executing and putting into effect all the policies and decisions related to the various divisions and departmental functions and programs. All courses and programs are approved and offered in consultation with this office. It maintains close supervision of Students Affairs Department where academic records of all students are kept.

This secretariat is the custodian of the Institute’s seal and all records are maintained with this secretariat.

The Registrar acts as the official host in all functions and is the Master of Ceremonies in the Convocations of the Institute. He leads the academic procession and conducts the Convocation ceremony.

  Administration Department

Administration department ensures that the day to day functioning of the Institute goes smooth and undisturbed for every working day of the year. The infrastructure’s maintenance, general administration and discipline, security and vigilance, front office and reception, sports and extra-curricular activities and transportation all go to the credit of the head of Head of this Department.

  HR Department

This is a very important department from employment point of view and may not be directly relevant to the student’s activities. Biztek believes in continued development of its human resource. In this regard in house training and outside courses are offered to deserving employees in their respective fields of expertise. Each employee is given proper orientation to perform effectively in his/her relevant fields. After graduation if the students want to get an internship at Biztek, they will need to approach this department. This department also hires the services of teaching assistants.

 Marketing Department

Biztek focuses on creativity and innovation at all levels. That's why it has its own Marketing Department. This department is responsible for all kinds of creative work in terms of publication. It starts with Biztekian Vision which is a regular in-house periodical, Annual Reports of the Institute and goes on for all kinds of brochures and leaflets that are published from time to time for distribution as a part of public awareness program for the students and parents. But the most important creation of this department is Biztek's Website. The simplicity in browsing, the comprehensiveness of information, the selection of sophisticated color scheme and the accuracy in updating, the credit goes to this division. Research Journals are also designed and prepared by this unit.

  Deans' Secretariat

We have four faculties: Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Computer Science & Information Technology and Engineering & Technologies. Deans are the academic heads of their respective faculties. They mainly deal with the ongoing issues of research and developments in addition to their routine academic activities. Different departmental heads coordinate functionally with the advices and counseling of the deans. Students on their own can visit these academicians with prior appointments through the front desk or their respective secretaries. They do care to look into specific problems and new opportunities that can be offered to promising students. There are 72 full time and part time academicians teaching different subjects of these four faculties.
The university offers both graduate and postgraduate courses including PhD. The Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences is Dr. Farooq-e-Azam Cheema, the Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences is Dr. Mohammed Ali Siddiqui, the Acting Dean, Faculty of Computer Science and IT is Dr. Abdul Shakoor and the Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technologies is Dr. Abdul Shakoor.

  Academics Department

Academic Department consists of the Faculties of the University. This Department decides all academic matters including the offering of courses. It is headed by the Director of Academics and works in coordination with the respective Deans and their Functional Heads of the Teaching Departments.
• Examinations Department :
From students point of view this is one of the most important functional areas. All that the students want to accomplish, or hope to accomplish academically will be going through this division. Conducting of examination under stringent Biztek quality control system, processing of result compilation and publication of results accurately and timely are the main responsibilities of examination division. It plays a pivotal role in the excellent academic performance of this Institute.
• Admissions Department
:
This is the first department the students will get into touch with. The department is responsible for all kinds of interaction with the students seeking admission in this Institute. Answering all queries related to admission is the responsibility of this department. They will help the students in selecting the right program, building relationship with individual departments or functions, problem solving on study requirements and above all improving their understanding about the modus operandi of different programs at Biztek.

 Public Relations Department

For the students the work of this office starts once they pass out. This office is responsible for the placement of Biztek graduates. It coordinates and interacts with the potential employers to find a suitable position for the students. The office develops corporate relations, which in turn speed up our graduates’ assimilation in the market for internships and regular employments. Protocols have been signed with various public and private sector organizations in this regard. The internships provide students a professional exposure and opportunity related to their qualifications. This office periodically issues circulars and information about Biztek graduates, particularly for high achievers to the corporate employers. The corporate sector also communicates their requirements for talents having specific knowledge and skills.

“HEAD HUNTING” sessions are organized at the campus periodically where the corporate sector can find their ‘TALENT OF CHOICE’. This office also helps the students in their “Resume Writing.”

  Finance & Accounts Department

When it comes to payment of fees and dues, this office comes into picture. This division also considers scholarships and stipends on the recommendations of Admissions Department and Registrar’s Office. The recommendations are based on results of individual students. So, if the students want to get some financial benefits, he/she will have to prove themselves on merit and get high grades in their respective examinations.

  IT Department

In today’s world one cannot function without IT or computers. IT division looks after all the computers that are installed in the campus. Biztek students need to do a lot of work on computers for project assignments as well as for searching the World Wide Web for their research work. IT division helps the students to do their work properly and without any loss of precious time.
We have a LAN of 300 machines running on windows and Linux environment supported by arrays of servers to service the clients. The machines are a mix of branded PCs. The network is spread in the entire building of three floors including four spacious laboratories for students. As a policy Biztek uses only licensed softwares. The entire LAN is fed on RF connection. To ensure the availability, scalability and reliability of the system, branded servers are used.
Scanning, printing and CD burning facilities are available to further facilitate the students in their academics. The class support is also provided through multimedia, computers and other requirements as and when required. To remain in a position to deliver on demand the department remains actively involved in research and development of soft wares and their implementation processes.
