Available through global databases such as ProQuest’s ABI Inform and EBSCO’s Business Source Complete, listed in ULRICH’s Global Registry of Management Journals, and included in Cabell’s Directory of Management, the Business Renaissance Quarterly (BRQ) is a peer reviewed scholarly/business oriented journal, focused on publications geared toward enhancing the quality of life for all stakeholders in the business world.

The BRQ is now accepting papers for Volume 6 Issue 3, to be published by end October 2011. 

With a board of advisors consisting of members such as Dr. Ian Mitroff, Dr. Lee Bolman, Dr. Judi Neal, Dr. GertJan Hofstede, Dr. Marjo Lips-Wiersma, and Dr. Turan Senguder, the quality of the BRQ may be considered guaranteed.

The journal focuses on a dual reading audience:

1)      Scholars with an interest in workplace improvement related topics, and
2)      Business Executives with a similar focus.

Based on the journal’s reading audience, the type of papers considered for publication is also dual: there is a scholarly section, and a business oriented part.

  • The Scholarly section consists of papers varying in length between 3000 and 5000 words, with proper citation and adherence to APA V format.
  • The Business Executive section consists of papers varying in length between 1500 and 2500 words, written in more popular language, and thus more appealing to business executives.

Topics of high interest to the BRQ
Authors may submit manuscripts on all topics that relate to enhancement of the quality of life in workplaces. Below are some suggestions for topics in which the BRQ has a high interest:
