Institute of Business & Technology (Biztek) is a Chartered Institute established through Legislative Act of the Sindh Assembly and recognized and approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) as a degree awarding institution. Biztek requires staff for the following positions.
Registrar
The incumbent will be providing senior administrative support to the Rector and managing staffing and operating procedures. The ideal candidate must possess MS/PhD in Management/Social Sciences from an HEC recognized institution, exceptional analytical and communication skills with the ability to critically analyze complex information and act on it appropriately. The candidate must have over 6 years of proven experience in academic management within a university/degree awarding institution and must be able to do multitasking with a good understanding of the highly effective relationships with University employees, customers and stakeholders that support and advance the Institution goals.
Associate Dean Management Sciences/Social Sciences/CS & IT
Responsibilities of the incumbent shall include assistance to the Dean of the Faculty in pproviding leadership to the Faculty and developing and articulating its vision in the light of HEC criteria and Biztek standards. The ideal Candidate have PhD in the relevant field and meet the criteria for the position of Professor/Associate Professor laid down by the HEC.
Head of Campus
The incumbent will be responsible for running the administrative affairs of the campus and formulating strategies to ensure its smooth running in lines with the Biztek policies; and to take measures to enhance the goodwill of the Institute at local level and increase the quality and quantity of the student intake, and liaises with different bodies like corporate sector, professional educational institutions and professional bodies etc in this regards. The candidate must be an MBA from a HEC recognized Institution and possess proven experience of 3-5 years in the related field
Head of Administration
The incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative leadership for various activities of Institute which would include supporting and facilitating the activities of the campus e.g. seminars, conference, admissions and other academic programs etc. the candidate should possess Masters Degree and sound experience of administration, good interpersonal skills, strong in maintaining discipline, housekeeping and other areas of administration.
Head of External Affairs
The incumbent will be responsible for Identifying internal and external community related needs of Biztek and making strategies to promoting its positive view through creating a strong relationship with key constituents including media, community groups and organizations that support and advance business goals and objectives of Biztek. The candidate must be an MBA from a HEC recognized Institution and possess proven experience of 3-5 years in the related field
Manager/Assistant Manager Admissions
Candidate should have an MBA degree with at least 3 years related experience in an institute/ university. In addition, the ideal candidate
should be familiar with desktop systems and also have strong administrative, and communications skills.
Assistant Manager HR
Candidate should have an MBA degree with at least 3 years related experience in an any reputed organization pertaining to HR functions of hiring, performance management, leave and attendance management, and file keeping etc. The ideal candidate should also have strong communications and interpersonal skills.
Student Advisor / Counselor
The candidate will be responsible for providing student counseling services by developing comprehensive counseling programmes and conducting individual and group counseling sessions for students coming from diversified cultural background. Candidate should have an MBA degree with at least 1-2 years related experience.
Public Relations Officer
Candidate should have a Bachelor degree and have 1-2 years working experience of advertising agency/educational institution. In addition, the ideal candidate should be familiar with desktop systems and also have good written and verbal communications skills
Academic Officer
The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining student database and for providing academic support and services including support to students & faculty of all programs and related tasks. Candidate should have an MBA degree with at least 1-2 years related experience.
Examination Officer
The incumbent will be responsible for making arrangements for holding examination, to maintain students examination records and make & issue transcripts and certificates. Candidate should have an MBA degree with at least 1-2 years related experience.
Accounts Officer
The candidate will be responsible for cash inflow management, execution and control of all cash outflows, banking operations preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and ensuring compliance with annual audits, etc. Candidate should have B.Com degree with at least 1-2 years experience
Assistant Librarian
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the librarian in day to day activities of library that includes exploring and ordering of books, journals and other library material, classification, cataloguing, issue & receipt, maintenance of stock register and stock taking exercise etc. Candidate should have B.Com degree with at least 1-2 years experience
Executive Secretary
The post-holder will be expected to provide a high level confidential and professional PA support service to the senior officials.
The incumbent will be responsible for all word-processing, correspondence, filing, appointments, and other related tasks.
