After the successful participation of UK conference Dr. Riaz Ahmed Shaikh, Registrar Biztek, participated in an international conference in Korea.
This conference was organized by International Sociological Association, Seoul National University, Korea Military Academy and Korea National Defence University, at Seoul national University, Korea from 14-17 July, 2008.
Conference was comprising of 15 parallel sessions. Dr. Riaz presented his papers in session 6 and 15. The theme of the 6th session was ‘The Military in the Asian Context’. Dr. Riaz Shaikh’s paper was ‘Pakistan’s Military Role in Asian Context’ while the theme of the 15th session was Democratic civilian control of the armed forces in Asia and Dr. Riaz Shaikh’s paper was ‘Power struggle between armed forces and democratic forces of Pakistan’
